Nur Ashki Jerrahi Zikr with Karima

An event every week that begins at 7:00pm on Thursday, repeating until December 31, 2018
Zikr – the Sufi Ceremony of Remembrance -Sitting, standing, and moving circles of music and prayer invite ecstasy as souls meet beyond personality. Our zikrs flow from the traditional practice of the mystics of Turkey, Egypt, and the Middle East. People of all religions and traditions are welcome!
During our practice we repeat some of the 99 Beautiful Divine Names including The Alive (al-Hayy), The Truth (al-Haqq), and The Mysterious Essence (Hu). These form the foundation of our experience.
Light Upon Light Sufi Center offers weekly zikrs from two Sufi traditions: Nur Ashki Jerrahi on Thursdays evenings, and Ruhaniat International (Dervish Class & Zikr) on Wednesdays.
